I thought such problems somehow arose out of the blue from walking on this endless treadmill called Cornell University. That I wasn’t really fit to be the Cornellian that the admissions officers had expected me to become. I remained within my comfort zone because I had become accustomed to being the average student. But I need to keep telling myself it’s OK. It’s OK to feel insecure about what I can’t accomplish. Because being a Cornellian doesn’t mean being stellar at everything, and there is no golden standard for me to prove against.
